God is El-Qanna, “Jealous God.” When the Israelites were freed from Egypt, God was “jealous” (Exodus 20:5)–Jehu used the same root word when he proclaimed his “zeal” for the Lord (2 Kings 10:16). Do you have a zeal for God the way He does for you?
