In every second of our lives, God must be exalted. At night we close our eyes even if we don’t have an assurance of waking up the next day. We do because we trust His heart. Each day that passes we slowly realize that the gift of life from Him is too precious to be wasted on worldly things. Life is too brief and we must live it to the fullest with Him. For our next hymn, let’s sing:

My voice ascending high;
To Thee will I direct my prayer,
To Thee lift up mine eye-

To plead for all His saints,

Our songs and our complaints.
